| Here are my front runner rings.... both from Haryy Winston. Poor poor david... i never wore rings in my life, and originally didnt even really want one and would have totally chosen to opt out and instead take an amazing vacation to japan. now i spend a lot of time just browsing online and trying to figure out what in the world i like and dont. really thought, its just his own fault cuz he was the one that told me to just look and try. that and he got me a practice ring.
@ first sight milgrain.
cushion cut micro pave ring. yes, i know this rock is just so damn big, but i think the only way the center stone will stand out againt all those micro pave diamonds is to be almost obnoxiously big. :P

| so i lost my ring on wednesday. i know.... AGAIN!!!!! lost it at work. i took the ring off to put on lotion, but i guess i didnt remember to put it back on. i was on the sales floor when i reached with my right hand to twist the ring... cuz i play with it alot, and was shocked to discover that it was not there! remembering that i took the ring off, i ran to the back and searched desperately without success. i had cleaning gloves on earlier and i tossed them in the trash that already been taken out, so i contemplated going to find it. i made brandon dig through the dumpster so he could bring back the trash bag that i THOUGHT the ring was in... but no luck. it had already been compacted. I was completely distressed, felt sick to my stomach, and pretty much panicked.
then Brandon comes from the back stock room with my ring on the very tip of his pinky finger. he found in inside the locker two below mine. apparently, i set the ring down on the edge of my locker so i would see it to put it back on. and in the process of digging through my purse, what not, the ring fell down and landed in another open locker?? i dont know how that happened, but all i know is that my ring is back and i owe brandon coffee for all of december because that's what i promised him if he found my ring. and it could cost quite a pretty penny since he drinks more coffee than anyone else i know. :P

| just got back from another long weekend up in mountain view. again, lots of food, but it was all delicious! visited gochi and cellar door...both are fantastically delicious sway back and forth in euphoria makes me oh so happy meals.
i guess the highlight to report is that i got practice ring #2. this one is properly sized and worth a little bit more (okay, a lot bit more) than the previous one so A. it wont fall off as easily and B i am much more mindful of it. i have already had to fight the urge to remove it a few times already...
did more ring shopping at valley fair... the ring i thought I'd love (tiffany novo-cushion cut with pave band) i didnt fall in love with right away... i think i need time to settle in to the one i have now before i make a decision. that, or the one i saw online and in the engagement ring pamphlet had a 2 carat center stone instead of the 1 that i tried on. it just was not as shiny as i wanted it to be...
anyway, i guess it boils down to things are good between dave and i. we've discussed a lot of things about our future and im looking forward to fun times ahead.
as for family, my grandpa is going into surgery on the 29th... he is being admitted to the hospital today and will be staying there for a total of 10 days... thats what the doctor said. i have been hoping he comes out healthy and strong. i will stay positive and think positive.
on the work front, holiday season is right around the corner. all of the christmas items are so cute and fun, we cant wait for the store to be shiny and glittery, even though it means lots of glitter in my hair and on my clothes. this will be my last holiday with PB Brea in the forseeable future.

| Hi everyone! I post from my new laptop! Well, its a hand me down from David, but I'm not complaining! Its a few years old, but it runs great and comes loaded with a ton of my favorite music ! I made him a list of a bunch of stuff I wanted and he actually took the time to do it all. (:
Its heavier and very manly looking, so I am on the hunt for cute stickers to decorate with. Any ideas? I think I shall start with curious george stickers, assuming I can find them.

| update: so for whatever reason, they could not reach the spots in my grandpa's lungs to do the biopsy and said they'd have to perform surgery to do so. my grandpa did not want to go under the knife just for a test (even though its super important and im sure my family in taiwan is advising him to do so, but he's just stubborn) so he settled on going to the doctor once a month to make sure it was not growing/expanding. will keep you guys updated
on a happy note, i spent this entire weekend with david and his family/extended family. it felt so good to be in a house where there's constant huzz and hum of people in the kitchen, chatting in the family room, watching chinese TV, and the best part: lots of taiwanese being spoken!! horray! it made me feel so happy and comfortable. (: i felt included, and not once did i feel like an outsider after the initial introductions. life is good.
